When human forces finally discover the existence of the Vampire and Lycan clans, an all-out war to eradicate both immortal species commences. The vampire fighter Selene leads the battle against humankind. The story in Underworld: Awakening takes place 6 months after the events of Underworld: Evolution, Selene (Kate Beckinsale) was captured by humans. Eventually both government officials and the public learn about the existence of the two immortal species of Vampires and Lycans. |
